What level of customer support can I expect?

We offer 24/7, 365-day-a-year support with a toll-free customer support number that is accessible at all times. Whether you have questions about tech, billing, deposits, or anything else, we've got you covered. You are guaranteed not to wait on hold for more than 5 minutes. Additionally, our equipment provides you with the ability to request customer support directly on the screen, eliminating the need to make a phone call.

Are there any hidden fees?

We do not have any hidden fees; everything is transparent and upfront. If you choose our traditional plan, you will pay 2.89% + $0.25 per transaction. Alternatively, if you opt for our Zero Fee plan, you will pay 0.00% per transaction. Our equipment is always provided free of charge, so there is no need to lease, purchase, or pay a monthly rental fee. However, it's important to note that we do have fees for additional services and software. We believe in 100% transparency, so you can find our full disclosure in the page footer.

Can I get help with setting up and troubleshooting equipment?

Once we receive your equipment, we will be notified, and our Customer Service department will give you a call to assist in activating your pre-programmed equipment. The activation process typically takes around 2 to 10 minutes, depending on the equipment type and the quantity of devices. Our equipment is fully plug-and-play. Alternatively, you can also reach out to our tech support number, which will be provided in the parcel once it's received.

When can I expect deposits into my bank account?

One thing that sets us apart from most others is that with Happy Merchants, you can receive your deposits on the same day. Yes, you read that correctly – if you process $10,000 today, you will receive $10,000 that same evening. While some industries may not qualify for same-day funding, the longest you will have to wait is 24-48 hours.

What's the difference between our Zero fee and Traditional plan?

We handle processing costs a bit differently. We provide you with full autonomy to choose whether you want to absorb the transaction fees and pay a small fee to start accepting your customers' cards with our traditional plan. Alternatively, you can opt for our zero-fee plan, where our POS equipment will display both cash prices and card prices, allowing you to pass the small transaction fee to your customers. In most cases, 99.9% of customers will have no problem paying a few extra cents to use their credit card.

What if I need more than one piece of equipment?

Our online sign-up process allows you to select one piece of equipment at a time. However, upon signing up, we will promptly email you with the option to choose an additional piece of equipment. You just need to email us to let us know, and we will ship all selected pieces of equipment at the same time. If you want more than one piece of equipment, some conditionals apply* See TOS below.

Free Equipment.. What's the Catch?

There is absolutely no catch when it comes to our free equipment. You will never need to purchase, lease, or rent your equipment with Happy Merchants. Not only that, it is the absolute best equipment on the market today. It is highly advanced, with multiple features and an entire app store, just like your mobile smartphone.

Is there a Contract?

Here at Happy Merchants, not only is the equipment free, but there are also no long-term commitments. You won't have to sign a 36-month contract like with most other processors out there. We offer a month-to-month agreement. When you are done with the equipment, simply send it back – that's all we ask.

Can I switch Pricing Plans at a later date?

You can switch pricing plans anytime you want. For instance, if you select the zero-fee plan initially and later decide that you'd prefer to absorb the cost of transactions yourself, you can make that change. Similarly, if you start with the traditional plan and later decide you'd like to save thousands of dollars each year, you can always switch to our dual pricing program.

Is there a Credit-check to sign up?

We will never conduct a hard credit check here. You will not lose any credit points when signing up with Happy Merchants. We will only perform a soft check to verify your identity and banking information, ensuring we know where to deposit your funds.
